Technical Design
Where Every Project Begins, Together with Our Technical Team
We support our clients at every stage, from product development (if required) to the definition of molds and support structures, using up-to-date 2D and 3D CAD software, including the latest version of SolidWorks, to ensure precision and compatibility.
From Idea to Product
We start from an idea, a sketch, or a specific client requirement. Upon request, we design the plastic product, optimizing it for the production process and adapting it to its intended use.
Upon request, we offer:
- FEA analysis to verify part performance under real-world conditions
- Reverse engineering through scanning and geometric reconstruction
Mold Design
We determine the most suitable mould based on the type of application, advising on carbon steel, stainless steel, cast or CNC aluminum, and taking care of the frame and arm plate to ensure compatibility with the client’s equipment.
Design and Production in Perfect Balance
Our technical team works in close synergy with production, overseeing every stage with care and precision. We perform quality and dimensional checks throughout the process, ensuring a mould that meets the client’s expectations and goals.

Internal finishes
We offer a wide range of mold finishes, designed to meet aesthetic, functional, and production requirements:
- Microspheres of glass: standard for carbon steel moulds
- Shot Peened: higher surface roughness
- Smooth industrial: standard for aluminum moulds
- Mirror polish: smooth, reflective surfaces
- Teflon coating: improves sliding and durability, reducing the need for release agents

Molding Tests
- Upon request, we perform tests using the 3600 model machine (square arm) to verify part quality and performance.
- Tests can be conducted in-house, with the client present if desired, or with photos, videos, or physical samples provided.
- Post-sales technical support is available upon request, including guidance on heating, cooling, and part extraction.
- We provide full 360° support, from the initial test to full production.

Martina Stampi offers a complete range of accessories and components designed to enhance the rotational molding process, customizable according to production needs.
Dropbox
Thermally insulated container installed on the mold for controlled polymer introduction. Ideal for two-color or layered products. Available with pneumatic piston (5–120 kg).
Custom Spider
Systems to mount multiple molds simultaneously, increasing productivity.
Jigs
Components for foaming, double walls, or to prevent deformation.
Level Rod
Accessory with a transparent window to monitor the liquid level in the tank.
Venturi Tube
Made of stainless steel with Teflon seals. Channels hot air to critical areas of the mold. Complete with supports.
Carts on Sliding Guides
Systems on linear guides or fan-opening mechanisms for smooth and safe mold opening without manual disassembly.
